Being an occupational therapist involves educating others to continuously use new knowledge to change practice so that we can change opportunities in peoplesĀ“ lives.

The aim of this workshop is to discuss research approaches that can be helpful for using new knowledge to change practice .

The method for the workshop is interactive and will involve participants in discussion of the workshop material and their own experiences. Two research approaches will be introduced as examples of methods for changing practice: action research and institutional ethnography.

Results: This workshop will provide an opportunity to learn and discuss methods for using new knowledge so that we offer leading edge practice to create the best societies possible.
